Small is Beautiful

This 5′x8′ bathroom is an excellent example of how creative use of space and choosing just the right pieces can result in a perfect marriage of form & function. We used a solid slab of Carerra marble for the floor, tying into gorgeous ledge-style stone and TOTO hardware to pull together a timeless and glamorous monochromatic theme. A glowing mother-of-pearl mirror adds just the right finishing touch. -

Environmentally Conscious Choices

The health of our environment is a very important and growing issue in our day and age. Sometimes we can all take for granted how precious it really is!
I believe that we should recycle everything possible. Waste needs to managed with the three R’s, Recycle, Reduce and Reuse. We should also try to re-purpose products whenever possible – such as having furniture reupholstered or donated. We can all make a small difference in showing that we care by taking these little steps to reduce our impact on the environment.
At 101 Interior Design we take pride in taking every step possible to ensure that the choices we make for our homes are the most environmentally conscious. Please ask us about environmentally friendly materials available for furniture and fabrics, such as soy, bamboo and wool.
